Setting up the Business FORUM, PHOENIX - the event and documentary channel of ARD and ZDF - started broadcasting a new programme at the end of 2008 in cooperation with the Handelsblatt. The platform is especially engaged in the discussion of economical issues, such as the financial and economic crisis. PHOENIX broadcasts the programme four times a year. The programme is recorded at the Deutsche Börse in Frankfurt.

Current Topic

On 12 September 2016, the 14th Business Forum takes place with the topic "Brexit and the economy - is it a quake with long-term effects?". About the Brexit and the consequences for the German and European economies chief editor Peter Frey of ZDF discussed with experts from the business. The focus is on questions like: What does the Brexit means not only for the companies in mainland Europe, but also in the British Isles? How will the Brexit affect the economy and labor market? Will there be an exodus of companies from the UK? Do other EU countries take the Brexit as a model for their own exit from the European Union?
